The 2008 housing market crash led to the shut down of our home building company, beginning my journey in real estate. If you would have asked someone back then if it was a good idea, they probably would have said it was crazy. However, what I know now, that I did not know then is there are a lot of opportunities in a downturn, or an adjustment if you will. I am living proof of this! I went from Chapter 7 to doing over $20 million in real estate sales in less than 3 years, in a time that most would say was the worst in history.
What I have learned in the last 10 years in real estate is there is opportunity all around us, if you keep your eyes open for it. I never set out to be where I am today, but I adapted and adjusted as needed and opportunities presented themselves. With the right systems and structure you can succeed in any market, which is one of the main reasons I created the Road to $20 Million online sales training program. From everything that happened to me, I learned that my priorities were simply out of line. Getting knocked to the ground helped me straighten them out.
